CaixaForum Madrid by Herzog & de Meuron

Last month they finally inaugurated CaixaForum Madrid. The building, an old Central Electric located in the heart of Madrid near the green wall of Patrick Blanc, has been designed by Herzog & de Meuron. Végétable Restaurant by Matali Crasset

Matali Crasset designed this restaurant, a transitory place for Printemps, a department store in Paris, France. Created mainly from plants and braided chestnut tree it offers a clam yet intense atmosphere which forms a definite contrast to its frantic surrounding. While strolling around, rays of light shine on passers-by and chef Alain Passard’s “cuisine naturelle” suggest that spring is upon one.
