Dow Jones Architects renovated the Garden Museum housed in the old church of St. Mary at Lambeth, London. While the historic structure remains untouched, the museum welcome visitors to a newly designed interior with a sequence of individual spaces for exhibitions, the permanent collection, education, café and shop. Villa Berkel by Architectenbureau Paul de Ruiter

To build the Villa Berkel, Architectenbureau Paul de Ruiter demolish the old bungalow that occupied the site and make a completely new design. H&M Shop by Estudio Mariscal

The new H&M Shop that just opened in Barcelona was entirely designed by Estudio Mariscal. The new shop is housed in an old headquarters office. They respected the building’s original architecture because its vestige of neoclassical architecture from the 19th century. The interior has a second neutral skin in black and white over the old one, creating a new image without blurring the original, that helps showing H&M collections in the best possible way. Birkbeck College by Surface Architects

Surface Architects won the competition to create within the Birkbeck College the permanent home of the Film & Visual Media Reserch Center. They transformed the basement, ground floor and the extension into a unique 80 seat cinema auditorium, surrounded by a media study suite, seminar rooms and offices. Boolean by Torafu Architects

Torafu Architects designed Boolean, an interior installation for the cafe space located at the entrance of the Faculty of Medicine Experimental Research Building in the University of Tokyo. At first the place was just a waiting room with a vending machine and covered with hard materials such as stone.
