The Michelberger Hotel

Werven Aisslinger has completed a budget hotel designed to feel like staying at a friends house in Berlin. The Michelberger Hotel is housed in a converted factory building featuring a brick facade, high ceilings, large windows and a courtyard that acts as the social hub of the hotel. Anja Knauer and Sibylle Oellerich collaborated to design the hotel interior using objects sourced from local flea markets, often re-purposing them for other uses, and low-cost materials such as laminated larch. Andalucia’s Museum of Memory

Alberto Campo Baeza has designed the Andalucia’s Museum of Memory located in Granada, Spain, a museum that wishes to transmit the entire history of Andalucia. They proposed a podium building that rises three stories so that the upper floor coincides with the podium of the Caja Granada building next door. Slit House

Atelier Zhanglei designed the house to fit in the historical context of Nanjing City, China, with a new form of concrete facade. The entire structure, even the roof, are made from concrete with a 5 centimeter horizontal wood textile strips which share the same scale with neighbor buildings of brick build almost 100 years ago. Deardesign have just completed the new flagship store for fashion brand Lourdes Bergada in Barcelona’s massive L’illa Diagonal. Following fashion brand’s industrial and minimalistic style, Deardesign created a vast hangar-like feel by including all of the functions of the store, both client and private room, under one roof, but separating them with a curving wall.
