Coromandel House by Crosson Clarke Carnachan Architects

The Coromandel house was conceived as a container sitting lightly on the land. The intention of Crosson Clarke Carnachan Architects was to reinterpret the New Zealand building tradition.

The house has a simple rectangular plan with a mechanism to the deck that allows the box to open to the outside and the sun.
