Through an international architectural contest, it was determined that the design from the Rotterdam Studio of Kempe Thill best fulfilled the architectural and functional requirements.

The concert hall in Raiding, Austria, is built in a beautiful park directly opposite from the house were Franz Liszt was born.

The building contains a chamber-music hall for 600 visitors which proportions and dimensions are set up according to references from the eighteenth and nineteenth century, resembling halls in which Liszt played himself. The inside of the hall is entirely constructed from wood.
