Wooden House Extension by Wim Goes Architectuur

Wim Goes Architectuur designed the beautiful extension to this residence located in the tiny hamlet of Bachte-Marie-Leerne, in the Flemish district of Belgium.

The wooden addition sits above a new wine cellar and extends partly over the pond. The intentional, unpretentious simplicity with functional clarity, results in stark beauty with Japanese-Finnish undertones. An elegant facade made form slim strips of wood encompasses both visual and structural grace.
