Auau designed this unique house located in Seto, Japan.
Very striking and unusual – and what a contrast with the dull, anonymous house next door!
Wow, an interesting house! First look at photo 2 made me think that the smoke trails were coming from the house!
What’s with all the white? Is there a law in Japan that all surfaces except the wood floors are white? Do they think that white = modern/current? The variance of the volumes are interesting. The kitchen looks small and blocky and too white. The shell of the house is shaped interestingly except for it’s color.
I Love keeping up to date with your posts!..Just wanted to thank you for a great blog!
Only houses designed by architects are permitted to be white. Manufactured houses must have colours that precisely match the computer generated sales brochure textures and colours.
