The Solar Decathlon Europe competition is an international competition among universities around the world with the goal of advancing the knowledge and dissemination of industrialized, solar and sustainable housing.

The competition will be held in Madrid in June of 2010 where the 20 prototypes, designed and built by the participating universities, will be displayed.

Just like the well-known Olympic Decathlon, the Solar Decathlon Europe consists of 10 contests that simulate the way in which we use energy in our daily lifes. The teams must design, build and operate an energy-efficient homes that are powered exclusively by the sun.

Design Hotelsâ„¢ is hosting the Future Forum 2010, their annual design and architecture symposium, from 10 to 11 June of 2010 in Berlin.

During the furniture fair in Valencia, the city is full of interesting events. One of these events was ZOCO, hold in the gallery Color Elefante, an exhibition where Dídac Ballester, GR design, Herme Ciscar & Mónica García, Nadadora, Pedro Ochando and Rubén Álvarez (Sweet Creations) joined together to create a collective exhibition, understood as a meeting place.
