Spanish furniture brand Sancal presented a collection of stools and side tables created by spanish design studio Nadadora in Milano.

As complement the Nadadora studio proposes a few nice stools and side tables whose are inspired by “trobos”, a few beehives done with trunks of wood, very typical in the north west of Spain.

The base is made of curved sheet of chestnut. Two heights for the bases and two diameters for the tops extend the possibilities in stools and tables. The collection is available in a wide range of tonalities, sober colors for discreet environments and alive tones that contrast with the wood.Tab it will be launched in Milan during the furniture fair later this month.

The Tab recover the support that gives us a trunk in the forest.

The lamp, designed by J.P. Meulendijks Design Studio for plankton, is a tribute to the universal art of hand shadows; making shadows on the wall using your hands to create birds, rabbits and other figures. Playing with light and hand shadows is a centuries old past time long before electric light was invented.

“Bird in Hand” plays with this concept:  All of the hands are positioned to look like a flock of birds, flying out in circles. The shadows cast on the wall looks like birds. This results in a very expressive, dynamic and striking looking lamp, with layers of humor and poetry hidden in the design.

Andrzej Mazur created this unique and original wooden seat with iron curved legs.

The way to change a simple sawmill waste into furniture. Sand casted iron items are referring to the tradition, introducing a functional seat in the world of furniture and paving the way to seek other uses for sawmill waste.

“I have found  proportional oak leftover pieces at the wood mill. I gave them only few smooth lines and added iron elements which was just formality. I have received a stable piece of furniture with an intriguing shape”.

The Qrooz offers the comfort of a spacious home, with large windows and your choice of layout, and also excellent sailing characteristics like a luxury yacht. Qrooz can be a luxurious house or an unusual office, or both.
