Végétable Restaurant by Matali Crasset

Matali Crasset designed this restaurant, a transitory place for Printemps, a department store in Paris, France.

Created mainly from plants and braided chestnut tree it offers a clam yet intense atmosphere which forms a definite contrast to its frantic surrounding.

While strolling around, rays of light shine on passers-by and chef Alain Passard’s “cuisine naturelle” suggest that spring is upon one. A feeling accentuated by his open kitchen garden tucked away in the middle of the restaurant.
