Casa Shibuya-ku por Yuko Nagayama
La casa, diseñada por Yuko Nagayama, está contruida en una parcela larga y estrecha, de 6,5 metros por 20 metros, rodeada de edificios que proyectan sombras sobre él a lo largo del día.
El diseño intenta resolver la falta de luz natural que entra en el edificio insertando un patio triangular en el primer piso, que divide el largo edificio en dos. Dentro de la casa, la continuidad visual es variable porque el espacio juega con dos tipos de percepciones: la real y la visual.

Magnifica solución. El plano inclinado, cubierta del salón, potencia la sensación de amplitud del patio.

Nice post. One thing, i’m running Win 7 with the Firefox 4 Beta browser and your columns are overlapping a little. Though you may want to fix it

The Revolution of 2010 is coming! Scott Browns election will be the start of a tsunami which will come to a head in November and continue on to the 2012 elections. Obama and the Democrat Congress have ignored we, the people and now we, the people will throw the bums out! If it can happen in our Massachusetts, it will happen everywhere. Lets end the nightmare of the 2008 election and take America back! By the way, its NOT the Ted Kennedy seat; it belongs to we, the people and were taking it back! Also, Ms. Coakley, Curt Schilling is not a Yankee fan as you stated on a radio interview; get real!

Es soberbio el juego de planos inclinados. Lo que no entiendo es la aparente falta de juntas, cómo se resuelve la transición entre planos, que materiales componen el plano de cubierta para tener esa continuidad, parece un revestimiento continuo, ¿como envejece y se mantiene eso frente a la intemperie?
