H&M Shop by Estudio Mariscal

The new H&M Shop that just opened in Barcelona was entirely designed by Estudio Mariscal.
The new shop is housed in an old headquarters office. They respected the building’s original architecture because its vestige of neoclassical architecture from the 19th century.
The interior has a second neutral skin in black and white over the old one, creating a new image without blurring the original, that helps showing H&M collections in the best possible way. The dome and the staircase were restored and emphasised with an aluminum sculpture in the shape of a cone.
In addition to the interior and furniture design, Estudio Mariscal was responsible for the lighting and its image and communication.
