The Salad Shop

Asylum designed this new fast-food / ready-to-go restaurant in Singapore with a slogan that reads “for herbivores, carnivores and everything else in-between”.

Animal silhouettes created as the core design language reflects the bran philosophy. Passersby outside the restaurant are allowed glimpses of the interior through massive cutout shapes os forks and spoons on a plywood feature screen. While cement screed flooring and plywood fittings accentuate the organic space, graphic printed stools and customized scenic fabric lampshades breathe a sense of freshness into the environment.

  1. Definitely a different approach to a fast food stop….but that plywood screen is being the “exterior wall” seems like it would be a real security problem.
