Wellness Sky by 4of7 Architecture
4of7 Architecture projected the conversion of the building that used to house an exclusive restaurant in Belgrade, Serbia, into a fitness center.
The main volume of the building, triangular in plan, elevated 15 meters above the river, is supported solely by a central core which contains two elevator shafts and double spiral staircase.
Concrete floor-slab and ceiling shell are not connected at the perimeter of the building, allowing an uninterrupted glass trip, with the total length of 150 meters wrapping around the building.
Interiors are finished with reflective resin floor finishes throughout and semi translucent, triangular, back-lit panels suspended from the ceiling.
