Spanish studio SAU Taller d’Arquitectura created this beautifully long table made of wood and stainless steel.
Here is the story of the table:
One day we found in a carpenter athelier a large piece of wood, the biggest piece we had ever seen.
The carpenter said that he should cut it. That was the moment when we decided to use it for something and a table was a great idea, we just needed a suport. Stainless steel material was adequate.
The main role was for the wood and the image of the piece with two suports at the edges was extremely nice and modern without losing its original essence: a nice piece of wood itself.
