Peconic Bay Residence

Stelle Architects designed this house sited on a bluff overlooking the bay within a grove of cedar and locust trees. Discrete volumes of varying public and private functions are organized around an axial promenade, extending to the outdoors. Single story volumes, separated by glass interstitial spaces, were utilized to lessen the overall impact of the structures while retaining lofty interiors spaces requested by the owners. Flying Point Residence

Stelle Architects designed this house and garden that became a bridge between two different bodies of water: gentle Mecox Bay to the north and wild Atlantic Ocean to the south. An existing house was radically transformed as opposed to being demolished. Substantial effort was undertaken in order to reuse, rethink and modify existing conditions and materials.
