6×9 Alpine Hut by Ofis

The hut is situated in a small Alpine village in Slovenia. The client bought the site with an existing construction and hired Ofis to change the elements of the house to suit his family and open the windows towards the views. Ofis modified the existing hut of 6×9 meters with a 42 degrees pitched roof, using the same materials, such as stone, wooden columns and facade patterns taken from local typology. House H by Bevk Perovic Arhitekti

Bevk Perovic Arhitekti designed the extension for the House H, located in a residential neighborhood of Rozna, Slovenia. The new pavilion is an extra living room which works as a mediator between the house and the garden. Distanced from the house and raised from the ground, it works as a space “in between” that floats above the ground despite the heavy concrete structure.
