Chiaroscuro House

The Chiaroscuro house designed by architect Marcos Samaniego, from Mas Arquitectura studio, is reflected in the stark contrast between the pure white walls and the black color we can find on the floor, curtains and carpentry. SelgasCano Architecture Office

Spanish architecture firm SelgasCano has designed their own office in the middle of the woods near Madrid. A curved window made of transparent acrylic forms the north-facing wall of the tunnel-like space. The opaque, south-facing wall, offers shade to the working area from the direct sunlight.
