City Lounge by Carlos Martinez

City Lounge is an outdoor space in the center of St. Gallen, Switzerland, that has been designed by Carlos Martinez in collaboration with Pipilotti Rist, as a result of a design competition to create a public living room. A red carpet flows all around the buildings, recreating places to relax, places to converse, places to park, fountains, even fake cars you can climb on. Holiday House in the Alps by AFGH Architekten

AFGH Architekten designed this incredible holiday house located in Scheidegg, Switzerland. The building was arranged on the periphery of the property so that the option of constructing another building could be left open. Tschierva Hut by Hans-Jörg Ruch Architektur

The Tschierva hut is located in the Bernina mountain range of the Swiss Alps. The addition made by Hans-Jörg Ruch Architektur is the resutl of an architectural competition. The building is part of a series of huts run by the Swiss Alpine Club for trekking the Bernina massif. Although the addition’s appearance is wooden, its structure is made with steel.
